Finally he had succeeded it on 14th August 1947. a newly created name Pakistan. After completing his education he came back to India and started law-practice. First he joined Indian National Congress but soon left it and joined the All India Muslim League in 1922. People gave him the title of Quaid-e-Azam for his selfless services for the creation of Pakistan. He was a man of discipline. Gandhi called him an impossible man for his devotion towards the cause of Pakistan. From 1940 till his death on 11th September, 1948 Quaid-e-Azam worked day and night for the creation and prosperity of Pakistan. It was due to his untiring efforts and wise leadership that a separate state for the Muslims of South Asia was came into being on 14th August, 1947.
